Dr. Sofia Mendez C.
Dr. Mendez completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at The University of Florida where she was Chief Resident. She was awarded a Master Degree in Endodontics at the Universitat Internacionale de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain. Dr. Mendez completed a Fellowship in Endodontics at the University of Carabobo in Valencia, Venezuela. She also received her Dental Degree in the same university and graduated with the highest GPA in the School of Dentistry.
Dr. Mendez is accomplished in all phases of Dentistry and looks forward to continuing to take excellent care of our patients. We hope you get the opportunity to meet her, if you have not already.
In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, traveling, photography and spending time with her beautiful family.
Dr. Andrea Agudelo
Born and raised in South Florida, Dr. Andrea Agudelo brings a warm, hometown touch to modern dental care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Central Florida before going on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery from NYU College of Dentistry, one of the top dental schools in the country.
Dr. Agudelo is highly trained and experienced in performing dental procedures, from preventive and restorative care to cosmetic treatments. With advanced certifications in Invisalign®, Botox, and Dermal Fillers, Dr. Agudelo offers a comprehensive approach to both dental health and facial aesthetics.
When she’s not creating beautiful, healthy smiles, Dr. Agudelo enjoys spending quality time with her close-knit family and her playful Goldendoodle, Chewy! She loves to travel and is always looking forward to her next adventure. A big fan of staying active, she also loves playing pickleball and soaking up the Florida sunshine any chance she gets.

Suzanne Raller
I am a south Florida native and received my Associates of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Broward College in 1995. I have been fortunate enough to work in the same practice for over 3 decades. I've built lasting relationships while caring for generations of families. I pride myself on my attention to detail and warm, friendly approach with patients. I love making people smile and laugh! In my free time I enjoy working out, gardening, playing pickleball, learning Mahjong and most importantly spending time with my husband and two children.
Helen Goenaga
Born in Miami, I’ve worked as a dental hygienist as long as I’ve been married, over 40 years. I’m the proud mother of two grown daughters, a dog and a cat. I’m a people person, love rom-coms and true crime, music, and vacationing. Having a nice trip to look forward to keeps me motivated and excited! I am incredibly proud to be a part of our excellent dental team. Our main goal always is to maintain the dental health of our patients and to keep our patients satisfied. Happy patients = happy workplace!
Alex Ferreira
Born in Coral Springs. I have been practicing dental hygiene for 12 years and have been a member of Dr. Mendez’s office for the past 4 years. I enjoy building relationships with patients and providing quality care in a comfortable, friendly environment.
Outside the office, I enjoy hockey, CrossFit, and cheering on the Florida Panthers, a team I have loved watching since 1996. My favorite foods are pizza and steak.
Day Orta
I am a dental hygienist with over 10 years of experience who is passionate about helping my patients maintain healthy smiles. I strive to create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable during their visits—even those who may feel a little nervous about going to the dentist.
I enjoy helping my patients improve their oral hygiene by providing them with the tools and education they need to care for their smiles at home.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, and listening to music. I am excited to be part of this wonderful team of professionals and to contribute positively to patient care.
Melissa Suarez
I have been working as a dental hygienist for almost 20 years. I am passionate about helping my patients achieve and maintain healthy, beautiful smiles.
I enjoy building relationships with my patients and creating a comfortable, positive experience during each visit.
In my free time, I love traveling with my family and staying active through indoor and outdoor exercise.
Carolina Sandoval
I have been working as a dental hygienist for 16 years. I have experience in preventive and periodontal care, and I truly enjoy helping patients feel comfortable and confident about their oral health.
I joined this office in January 2025 and have really enjoyed being part of the team. I always strive to create a calm, friendly, and positive experience for every patient.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, staying active, and focusing on health and wellness.
